Rachel Zoe says her children’s transition has been seamless.
After the fashion mogul and her now-estranged husband Rodger Berman announced they were breaking up after over 30 years together on Sept. 9, Rachel has shared an update on how the pair’s sons Skyler, 13, and Kaius, 10, are faring.
“My kids are amazing, and that's all that matters,” she exclusively told E! News at the Love-In Gala in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of The Goldie Hawn Foundation and MindUP Sept. 27. “I mom so hard that I don't take my eye off them. So they're happy. I think that's making everything okay.” (For more with Rachel, tune into E! News tonight Sept. 30 at 11 p.m.)
The 53-year-old also shared an update on how she herself is doing amid her split.
“I'm good, you know, I really I'm good,” she said. “Just doing my life and being with people I love, and going to things that matter, and just constantly surrounding myself with my incredible friends.”
It helps that she also has a number of professional endeavors keeping her busy.
“Oh my goodness, my podcast Climbing in Heels is doing really well,” she gushed. “And I have a lot of different brand partnerships and licenses and endorsements and things like that, lots going on with the brand, which is very exciting.”
Rachel’s personal updates come only weeks after she and Rodger announced their divorce after 26 years married and 33 years as a couple.
Noting the decision was mutual, their statement added, “We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together. Our number one priority has been and will always be our children."
“We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share,” the statement continued, before the pair signed off, “With love and gratitude.”
And in the weeks since, as the famed stylist noted to E!, she’s been leaning on her friends and community—and they’ve been giving the love right back.
Just one day after announcing her split, Rachel shared videos of a number of floral arrangements she received from loved ones, such as director pal Shawn Levy and his wife Serena Levy, Cammy Hebert Miller and Cologne Trude and The Home Edit’s Clea Shearer.
As she said of the gestures on her Sept. 10 Instagram Story, “I’m surrounded by angel friends.”
