When it comes to preparation for a new baby, this is not Jenna Dewan's first time around. After all, The Rookie actress is already a mother to Everly, 11, and Callum, 4. But, for baby #3, she's getting a little nursery design help from Crate & Kids who made Dewan's dreams come true. She wanted a style and vibe that was "calm, peaceful, warm, cozy, but a little mystical," and they delivered. We got an exclusive look at Jenna's nursery, plus some baby registry must-haves and a go-to beauty product for busy moms. But first, we talked motherhood and baby prep.
Because this time, Jenna explains that, "it's just been more relaxed. I mean, I'm definitely more tired. I have moments where I'm, ‘how in the world am I going to wake up and take them both to school?' But I also have a really great partner [fiancé Steve Kazee] who helps out a lot."
And her kids are prepping, too. Jenna's daughter Everly is "really excited and loves going into the room. She was as excited about the nursery as she was about her new room. Just loves going in there." And Jenna reports that Callum "loves babies. So I think that's going to go well for me."
But when it came to the nursery, Jenna had three essentials that she needed from Crate & Kids – a "really great crib," a daybed, and a glider chair. And the "team blew me away, they came in with just the most perfect design with the greatest look and feel and it's exactly what I wanted," she adds. So, keep on scrolling to shop Jenna Dewan's nursery, along with some other Crate & Kids picks, plus some baby registry must-haves and (most importantly) the beauty product that Jenna swears by for busy moms.
And when asked if this was her last baby, Dewan took a moment to say, "I hesitate to give any sort of finalization statements ever. Because I think you make plans and then the universe laughs at you. But, yes, I would venture to say: last baby."

According to Dewan, "I have some essentials that I really wanted in the room, but I would say my favorite piece is probably… I mean I really love the crib. The crib has this natural wood but it's opulent in a certain sense, but it's also really chic and modern. It's obviously the centerpiece of the room, and it really pulls your focus. But, it's just beautiful. And it's really unique. I just love it."
Another essential for Jenna's nursery was a daybed. She explains, "I've learned, especially with my past two, that you spend a lot of time in the nursery with them and a lot of time, yes, it's wonderful if they sleep in their crib all the time, but sometimes you have to take them out, you're breastfeeding, they fall asleep, you fall asleep with them. Or there's sick days, or there's just necessary reasons to have someplace more comfortable for you to lay, as well.
"And I found that the other kids really like having this daybed to sort of lie on with the newborn and be all together. We find ourselves going into, especially Callum's room when he was little, for the bedtime process but we all want to be in there. So Eddie would kind of get on the bed with Callum and you know it just turned into something that we used a lot."
The crib and daybed were musts for Jenna, including a glider because, "I spend so much time in the glider chair, breastfeeding and cuddle naps, and all the things. So having a comfortable glider chair that has a good recline on it, but also looks really great in the room."
Having a great changing station was important to Jenna. You can secure this topper to a dresser (see Jenna's below), and it gives you a dedicated place for diaper changes and clothing switches. Best of all, it's easy to clean. The changing pad is sold separately, but you can pick it up here.
This is the dresser that Jenna picked out for her Crate & Kids nursery, and where she attached her changing station. And it's classic design and clean lines can blend into any nursery decor. The antique brass finish pulls are a particularly elegant touch.

You can spot this throw pillow on Jenna's daybed. It adds to the "mystical" vibe of her nursery, and would look super cute on any glider or chair where you need to prop yourself up for cuddle naps, breastfeeding, and more.
Made of natural maple wood and iron, this geometric baby mobile adds a modern touch to any nursery. Babies will be entranced by the moving shapes and you'll be impressed with the reduced price.
This play tent is for the older kids, but can be a cozy place for them to hang out in the nursery with the new baby. Best of all, it's collapsible, so you can take it anywhere, or store it away for a later day.
Babies can spit up...a lot. I found that having tons of burp cloths around made it easy for quick clean ups, or just keeping prepared for the inevitable clean up. This 3-pack of organic cotton cloths is essential for any nursery.
Jenna Dewan's Baby Registry & Baby Sprinkle Must-Haves
For new moms, Jenna recommends putting changing stations around your home, "so you're not constantly having to go up to one place. I found that has made it easier. Or a little caddy nearby." This caddy is made of soft felt, includes so many compartments for wipes, diapers, creams, and more, and can stand on it's own wherever you place it.
For moms that already have kids in the home, Jenna notes, "You find that you really use the same things. But you don't need as much." However, one essential for her is a good baby carrier. This wrap makes it easy to keep your little one close and cozy, while you're running around after your other kids.
Jenna Dewan's Go-To Beauty Product for Busy Moms
Jenna reports that she does "the most minimal makeup and I do it at stop lights in the car. I love anything that is multipurpose, so right now there's an Ilia foundations stick that has all things in one. And I just use that and throw that on in the car with a little lip balm and curl the lashes, and be done for the day. But anything that's multipurpose that does more than one thing for moms is everything."
